The Metamorphosis of Me: My Journey of Change and Self-Discovery

Heaven on Earth

“We are; each of us angel with only one wing, and we can only fly while embracing each other.”

How true is this?  I love this quote.  It is the epitome of how I define all my friendships.  If I didn’t have them I wouldn’t  who or where I am today.  Each of them, in their own special way, have given me the courage to be who I am.

I am the luckiest person to have them all in my life and I know I definitely don’t tell them enough how much I appreciate and love them!

You Are Here!

You have arrived at my little space of the world-wide web.  Welcome.  Sit back and relaxing, while I:  rant, rave, complain, praise, laugh, cry, reminisce, predict, change, love, hate, succeed, fail, learn, grow and babble about anything and everything that comes to my little mind!

I used to blog a lot when I was in my early teens to my early twenties and I loved it!  I don’t know why I ever stopped.  It was the best way for me to have an outlet without having to complain to everyone around me.  So, with that being said, if you don’t like what I say, that’s okay.  Quit reading.  I am very opinionated, but I also love hearing other people thoughts and opinions on different subjects as well.

I guess I should tell you a little about me.  Well….I’m 28 years old and I’m from Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Brooklyn Park to be exact.  I am a PCA (personal care assistant) to twin boys who are two years old.   I enjoy working with children and my goal is to go back to school and become an Occupational Therapist.  I am single with no children, but I can’t wait to be a mother!  I am still very close friends with the same girls I was close friends with in highschool.  I love them to death and I thank God for them everyday!  I was born and raised Catholic, but I am not a practicing Catholic, as I don’t believe in some of the teachings of the church.  I believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, I just don’t go to church as much as I should.  I am currently in search of a non-denominational church close to where I live.  So any of you out there that are Minnesotans in the Twin Cities area know of any, please let me know!  I have two younger sisters that are 26 and 22.  They are my best friends in the whole world.  I can’t imagine life without them, even though it was only 10 years ago that I wished I were an only child…lol.

This blog is mostly just me and what’s going on in my life.  I would love to have feedback, etc.  So please, your comments, questions and concerns will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
